Yes, absolutely! Enrollment is open for all students inside or outside the United States.
Yes, we offer our Master Certification Bundle on Levels 1-4.
Our Student tool boxes come with a variety of training tools: treat pouch, long-line, slip lead, and prong collar. It will also include various Method K9 merch.
ALL Students: The cost of the program incudes a "Student Tool Box" with no specific regard to items or value assessed to those items. Items included within the "Student Tool Box", including but not limited to, items, number of items, type of items, brand of items, etc., are subject to change without notice.
International Students: Due to the large number of Countries banning E-Collars and Prong Collars - these specific items will not be included in any "Student Tool Box" shipped outside the USA
We require every student to go through all 4 Levels, in-order, regardless of experience.
This ensures that all of our Dog Training Students understand our core concepts, safeties, and dog psychology before moving on to more difficult behavioral cases.
Levels 1-3 are completely online and are "work at your own pace." There are no deadlines for watching the educational videos, taking the exams, or completing the video submissions.
We highly recommend people bring a dog that they have already established a bond with. This helps with the learning process for both the student and the dog.
If you are unable to bring a dog with you, Method K9 Institute can provide you with a rescue/shelter dog to work with.
Yes, we require our students to watch through and complete ALL educational videos to move on to another level. We highly recommend that you study these videos to help you pass your written exams and the video submissions.
To ensure hands-on experience and real-world application, the Level 4 Certification requires in-person attendance and is not available in a fully online format.
Our certification programs are designed to support beginners all the way to professional dog trainers. Whether you’re a pet owner, foster, shelter volunteer, dog daycare staff member, or professional trainer, the curriculum provides the knowledge and skills to work confidently with dogs at every level.
While some foundational concepts may overlap, our certification programs include 500+ exclusive training videos available only inside our courses. This content is specifically designed to provide in-depth, structured learning you won’t find anywhere else.
That’s completely normal, and you’re not expected to jump into advanced cases right away. Our program is designed to build your confidence step-by-step, starting with foundational skills and progressing into more complex behaviors. You’ll learn proven frameworks, safety protocols, and handling techniques so you feel prepared, not overwhelmed, when working with more challenging dogs.
Video Submission Policy
To maintain the integrity and standards of the Method K9 Institute Certification Program, the following video submission policy applies:
Submission Attempts
One (1) initial video submission is included with your enrollment.
If the initial submission does not meet required standards, one (1) additional resubmission is permitted at no cost.
Any further submissions beyond these two (2) attempts may be subject to a $250 resubmission fee per review.
Evaluation Standards
All submissions must meet the established technical and performance criteria outlined within the program. It is the participant’s responsibility to review all training materials and apply provided instruction prior to submission.
Feedback & Responsibility
Detailed feedback may be provided following the initial submission. Participants are expected to fully implement this feedback before submitting additional attempts. Repeated submissions that do not reflect meaningful improvement may be subject to additional fees.
Resubmission Fees
Resubmission fees are assessed at the sole discretion of Method K9 Institute. Payment of any applicable fee is required prior to further evaluation of additional submissions.
Discretionary Consideration
Method K9 Institute reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive or enforce resubmission fees on a case-by-case basis. Such consideration is not guaranteed and should not be expected.
Policy Enforcement
This policy is in place to uphold the quality and rigor of the certification process while ensuring appropriate allocation of instructional time and resources. By participating in the program, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Video Submission Policy.
