No formal experience is required. Most of our students come from pet-adjacent backgrounds like vet techs, groomers, kennel staff, daycare workers, and rescue volunteers, but the program is designed to teach you from the ground up.
Yes! The program is fully online and self-paced. Most students study during evenings and weekends while keeping their current job. The live coaching calls are monthly, not weekly, so they don't conflict with most work schedules. They are also recorded and posted if you are unable to attend.
Dog training is not a regulated industry, which means there is no state or federal license required to work as a dog trainer. The Method K9 Institute Certified Dog Trainer credential is a professional certification that demonstrates you have complete a rigorous training program. It is recognized by trainers, clients, and dog professionals worldwide.
